Participants must complete the registration process, pass a medical examination, and sign the waiver.

Cash prizes will be awarded to the top 9 overall finishers, as well as the top 5 male and top 5 female participants.

Opobo Kingdom Prize: Awarded to the first Opobo indigene to finish the race.
Teen Category: Prizes for top finishers in the teenage category.
MEDALS, T/SHIRTS AND CERTIFICATES
All participants will be provided with a race vest, number bib, and timing chip. Finishers will receive a medal and a certificate upon completing the race. The weather is expected to be partly cloudy with occasional showers at the start, and temperatures ranging between 24-29°C.
WATER POINTS
Water Points will be provided every 4KM, and at the finish line.
MEDICAL
Three ambulances will be stationed along the race route, with a dedicated medical station. Additionally, medics will be available at every intermediary point along the route.
ROUTES & MAPS
A route tour will be conducted on the 30th December 11:00 AM.
PRIVACY POLICY
1. The organizers and co-organizers of the Opobo Marathon are committed to complying with all applicable privacy protection laws and regulations regarding the handling of personal information. Collected data will be used for participant eligibility screening, creating and updating the official program booklet and website, and publishing race finishing times. Additionally, this information may be used to contact participants for race management purposes.
2. The event may be broadcast on television and live-streamed online.
3. Photos, videos, articles, and personal race records may be used for promotional materials, including booklets, posters, and media outlets such as television, radio, newspapers, magazines, and the Internet. The organizers, co-organizers, and approved third parties may use these materials for marketing and race management purposes.
